Alex marks was born and raised in Sheboygan Wisconsin along the shores of Lake Michigan. Always outside exploring and fixing cars and bikes fueled a passion for travel and learning new things. This passion led Alex to pursue a degree in geography and after graduating in 2014 he hit the road. Along the way, he worked in various construction elements such as demo and framing. His main focus was precision tile installation ranging from Carrara marble showers to everyday backsplashes. Moving on to the professional automotive industry Alex managed elements of multimillion-dollar racing outfits for Acura, Ferrari, and McLaren. After scratching the racing itch and fueled by a desire to give back he joined the Peace Corps and moved to Ukraine to teach English in a small village. There he organized and taught English lessons in the local village school and orchestrated English speaking clubs in the community.   Additionally, he worked with community leaders to develop a project focused on litter mitigation. Upon returning to the States, he dove into a project management role for a multibillion-dollar company emphasizing cancer drug research. While that has been a rewarding experience Alex’s love for trying new things and travel has led him to beautiful Boundary County and back to the construction industry where he is excited to not only build things but also strong relationships with clients and the community.
